You nailed your WOD and now it's time to refuel. Quench your chunky-monkey craving and give your tired muscles the protein they need to recover with this delicious chocolate banana post-workout shake!

Paleo Chocolate Banana Recovery Shake


  • 1 frozen banana (peel off!)
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 teaspoon raw cacao nibs or dark chocolate 70% or higher
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. Transfer to a glass and drink immediately. Enjoy!
